Our Laser emits ultra-short laser pulses that penetrate the skin and shatter tattoo pigment particles into microscopic fragments. These tiny particles are then naturally eliminated by your body’s lymphatic system over time. Because the Pico laser works at incredibly fast speeds, it minimises heat build-up, reducing skin damage and discomfort while effectively breaking down both dark and coloured pigments.
Most clients describe the sensation as similar to tiny elastic snaps against the skin. Discomfort levels vary depending on the tattoo’s size, location, and colour density. At The BrowLAB Laser, we use advanced cooling and numbing techniques to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
Do not use self-tanning products prior to your session.
Refrain from applying makeup, creams, or perfumes to the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
Shave the area 24 hours before your session (if applicable).
Avoid taking blood-thinning medications or alcohol 24 hours before treatment.
Let us know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any medication.
Your session begins with a brief consultation and skin assessment. Protective eyewear is provided for your safety. The laser is then applied to the tattooed area in quick pulses. You may hear a faint popping sound as the pigment particles break down — this is completely normal. Depending on the tattoo size, a session can last anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Afterwards, a soothing ointment and sterile dressing will be applied.
Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing:
Keep the treated area clean and dry for at least 24 hours.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, or swimming for 48 hours.
Apply the recommended healing ointment or HOCl spray twice daily.
Do not pick or scratch any scabs or blisters that may form.
Avoid direct sunlight and always apply SPF 50+ sunscreen once healed.
Follow your technician’s instructions carefully between sessions.
Laser tattoo removal is highly effective, but results depend on several factors: the tattoo’s age, ink type, pigment depth, and your skin type. Most clients see noticeable fading after just one to three sessions, with complete removal typically requiring 6–10 sessions spaced about 6–8 weeks apart.
Once the tattoo pigment is successfully broken down and cleared, the removal is permanent. However, residual ghosting or very faint pigment traces can sometimes remain, depending on the tattoo and your body’s natural healing response.
Mild redness, swelling, or temporary whitening of the skin immediately after treatment is common and subsides within a few days. Some clients may experience light scabbing or temporary skin sensitivity. When performed by an accredited professional, the risk of scarring or pigmentation change is minimal.

Please cancel at least 24 hours before appointment.
- To reschedule / cancel your appointment for any reason, please do so via the booking confirmation email or app using the “manage booking” option.
- *PLEASE NOTE that if you arrive 15 mins or later for your scheduled appointment, your treatment will not proceed.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (on the day of appointment) will be required to pay in full before a new booking can be made.
