Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment.
Avoid sun exposure or self-tanning for at least 2 weeks prior.
Do not wax, pluck, or use hair removal creams for 4 weeks before treatment (as these remove the follicle the laser targets).
Avoid applying lotions, perfumes, or deodorants to the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
Inform your technician of any medications or skin treatments you are using.
Your trained laser technician will begin by cleansing and preparing the area. A cooling gel may be applied to enhance comfort. During the session, the laser handpiece will glide across the skin, emitting quick pulses of light. Treatment times vary depending on the area — from as little as 10 minutes for small areas (like the upper lip) to 45 minutes for larger areas (like the legs or back).
Afterward, the treated area may appear slightly pink or warm, similar to mild sun exposure — this is normal and typically settles within a few hours.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks.
Apply a soothing aloe vera gel or a recommended post-laser cream to calm the skin.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, and exercise for 24–48 hours.
Do not wax, pluck, or exfoliate between sessions. Shaving is acceptable.
Always use broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen on treated areas.
